if I did write somewhat impolite to you, it is not aware and excuse me please...
I am French and live in Germany, the 2 mother tongues for English, as English is a Germanic tongue over filled with French vocabulary plus Latin vocabulary, but did never learn it, not as choice, but because it is so in my country as France was in the past divided in 4 foreign language countries (English in North, German in East, Italian in South-East and Spanish in South-West. The language offerings in French schools matched this distribution.... But one of my ancestor was English man living in the English oriented country of Lille-Calais. And my two last children did learn English as pseudo mother tongue at the garrison of NATO HQ in Europe, to late for myself.... We have no prejudice (says google! I would the French "prejudice" never use so in French!). My English level is «bad BASIC, British American Scientifical International Commercial language from C. K. Ogden and I. A. Richards», the English with 850 words recommended by Churchill and other, esp. one American University; and bad because you can't practice it really strong as nobody speak or use it... It is so because nobody can order somewhat concerning English, the overwelmed world language. It is also so, because they are today tons of different English dialects or main streams... I am happy that French and German are no longer considered for worldwide use: that way, our languages are no longer abused. But you, who want to impose English in the world, have to live with it . And you caused the problem dividing the English tongue in 2 different branches, American and British English absolutely no phonetic approach to writing We have no intention of bothering with such differentiations and , and this does not encourage further study. I'm ready to make the effort to speak BASIC English with anyone who makes the same effort: It's not the sea to drink, neither for us, nor for English speakers: 850 words and a small mass of typical English speaking turns of phrase allowing this reduction of vocabulary! This would prevent such mistakes . But nobody is really ready to such an effort for both sides...
Kind regards
