is there a default .. (gui) system monitor? (bookworm pup 10.0.8 usb thumbdrive live .iso boot)
(cpu use, ram use, etc)

It already has a version of Conky that should be displaying on the desktop right side.
Settings for it are done using menu ->Desktop ->JWMdesk ->Desktop tab ->Conky settings
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
