Anyone been about to get this utility to deliver simultaneous audio to multiple cards at one time? Thanks for any help...
I can install paprefs no problem from PPM in F96-CE. That part goes well, but it is supposed to create virtual output tab for simultaneous output on all local sounds in the pulseaudio gui. It is in this virtual sound card tab that you can send outputs to all physically connected audio hardware.
That is my understanding at any rate. Please feel free to correct and enlighten me.
Thanks

How to use PAPREFS to get audio from simultaneous cards?
Re: PAPREFS simultaneous cards
I see a related post to this issue here:
viewtopic.php?p=24575&hilit=paprefs#p24575
It is in regard to WDL_Arch64 though and not F96-CE puppylinux...
It does have pictures and more detailed info than I originally provided.
Thanks for any help.
I'm just wanting to output sound to multiple cards simultaneously. For instance TV, bluetooth stereo and/or internal laptop speakers etc...
Thanks once again

Re: PAPREFS simultaneous cards
Okay I got it to work in F96-CE_4
Open a terminal:
Code: Select all
pkg repo-update
pkg add paprefs
then in the terminal:
Code: Select all
paprefs
Re: How to use PAPREFS to get audio from simultaneous cards?
Thanks for the welcome rockedge.
Are you saying you got the "simultaneous cards" tab to appear in the pulse audio preferences screen and achieved outputting sound to multiple cards, or that you simply managed to install "paprefs" and it opened?
I have installed peprefs and opens. I just used the legacy PPM and it opens just fine and I can put a check mark in the simultaneous cards check mark box and it even saves this setting in paprefs upon reboot, BUT the actual TAB called simultaneous sound cards in the *pulse audio preferences window* never appears...
Thanks for your help rockedge

You had my hopes up there Rockedge. Oh well. Good job nevertheless with F96-CE. I couldn't do SimpleScreenRecorder with audio on previous Fossapup. So thanks for getting pulse working man.
Later bud.

Not true. It is not working. You're wrong rockedge. It ain't doing squat. It's just a message window but when you put the check mark in the box the tab is not generated in the pulse audio window. This issue is still unresolved. Please mark it as unresolved. Thank you
