PLS help we find a viable Firefox packed I can get and transfer from my phone to my PC. ATM quickpet and ppm don't install working packages. Ditto thunderbird. From quickpet Won't start. Internet on. Some files missing? Can't find dependencies test or downloader

ff updated, works, t'bird not updated to yahoo upgrade in last 4 days.
F96-CE already has Firefox browser as the browser in it.
You do not need to install it.
it is already there to use.
So what are you exactly wanting to do with Firefox????

When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.

This is how to install Thunderbird using Quickpet program that worked for me.
So not sure what your problem is.
Internet connection maybe 
I downloaded and installed Thunderbird using Quickpet program.
It did install a old version , but It runs for me by clicking on Thunderbird in the main menu ->Internet >Thunderbird
When it starts it automatically starts downloading an update and installing it.
It gives message to restart to update when it completes the update download.
It did have to do this several times.
Each time getting a newer version and updating to it.
I right clicked on the top area of the Thunderbird window where it will offer some options and I selected to show menu bar.
This provides a selection menu at the top of the window.
If you click on help ->About Thunderbird
The about window has an update info telling you what to do.
To get the very latest version v115.9.0
Internal update will not do it you have to download it from Thunderbird web site and install it.
On about Thunderbird it provided a link to the download web site.
Went there and downloaded the Thunderbird package. (which is the latest version) thunderbird-115.9.0.tar.bz2
After download to location I can find it.
Uncompressed it and inside directory it made is directory thunderbird with all needed stuff inside it.
In the operating file system navigated to /opt/
In it will be the old Thunderbird directory.
Delete it and replace with the new one.
Now thundirbird will be the latest version.
Any new updates can be provided by going to Thunderbird help->About Thunderbird.
Do what it says there to update.
This fixes internal update to work again.
It will have a button to click on to update if a new version is available.
