exec /opt/Brave-portable64/LAUNCH?
Brave does not start, w or w'out first '/'. files exist in that order, as shown. LAUNCH is executable, a second copy of LAUNCH is on my default screen, and it works but this one, under opt/~ does not. i haven't found a directory of files on my default home screen, or i would have used that path.
Why won't LAUNCH start Brave?

Re: Why won't LAUNCH start Brave?
Running F96-CE_4
I have the Brave-portable64 directory in /mnt/home/
That is a location outside of the save.
So the portable is not in the save.
In a terminal this command runs it:
Code: Select all
/mnt/home/Brave-portable64/LAUNCH
Are you doing this in a terminal?
To test what you seem to have for the location of Brave-portable64 directory.
I placed it in /opt/
This in a terminal runs it for me:
Code: Select all
/opt/Brave-portable64/LAUNCH
I assume you got the Brave portable from here:
viewtopic.php?t=6150
After you download it and decompress.
If you selected to decompress into a directory.
The Brave-portable64 directory is inside the decompressed directory.
So I assume you took it out of the decompress directory and it is the only directory you put into /opt/
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected
