run-as-spot

Post by williwaw »

run-as-spot, as found in 12KL_gtkdialogGTK3filemnt64.sfs, has
line 24 adduser --disabled-password --shell /bin/bash --gecos ",,," $user
however, the rootfs I recently downloaded from void uses useradd. void-x86_64-ROOTFS-20230628.tar.xz is the glibc version whereas I believe the xbps-installed base_install used by most here is the musl version?
Dunno if its different
changing line 24 to useradd spot seemed to work
(useradd disables passwords by default)

I'm pretty sure the xbps-installed base-install used by most here is the glibc version williwaw.

I could be wrong, but AFAIK, the only person here who has switched to mainly using a musl-based toolchain is our ex-'Benevolent Dictator', Barry himself......as part of his on-going experimentation with EasyOS..

I'm perfectly willing to be corrected on this.

Mike. ;)
