A screenshot taken by mtpain, when sent to WhatsApp Web or via email via a browser, turns into an image with stripes.
Google Chrome or Vivaldi
It is impossible to send any file as an attachment via WhatsApp Web or email. I tried to drop the file or tried using the special paperclip button, the result is the same - nothing happens.

Go to about:config and try to set privacy.resistFingerprinting to false. (This is not a bug, this is a privacy feature.)
Regarding Chrome - do you have permissions to access the file? Is the browser running as spot and the file is under a location accessible to spot, like /home/spot? This is probably not a bug but a permissions or ownership issue.
