my sight poor, it's hard to be sure whether i'm in 1st row or 2nd. pls tell me how to make the 1st row, with the minimise and quit icons, yellow, so it's clearly defined. nb sometimes that row moves so high it's off screen, as if the image is too big for screen. [default 1920x1080, hdmi or DB15] to 58in 16:9, 4k hd tv internally expanded by tv. tv [x,y] max unknown. i can't edit the wallpaper boundary to keep it all onscreen.

What is the make and model of the TV?
If using it as a computer monitor.
In the TV internal settings, does it offer PC mode?
if yes.
Have you set it to PC mode?
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected

The colour setting you ask about.
menu -> Desktop ->JWMDesk Manager -> JWM Theme
Click on Colour Chooser
If one of those select-able colours is not good for you.
Click on the color display bar at top showing what color is used.
A color selection wheel will pop up.
Use this to select a color to use.
