want a magnifier that moves and magnifies what's under it, not what's at the cursor. pls?

When lens is small, It does follow the cursor, but you can make the magnifier lens very large and make it magnify most of the screen.
Read the docs how to adjust lens size.
There are a lot of control over it by keyboard keys and keyboard arrows.
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.

i want the cursor free to do other operations when using a fixed magnified area which i can reposition when wanted via a menu. i'm stock trading and need to monitor the live profit/loss numbers and do buys/sells/closeouts easily. the numbers are too small and too far from the operating icons to keep in focus and trade quickly. I'm certain it's deliberate, to disadvantage users. of course, i expect better available, for a another fee. Using the browsers' text only magnifier/default text size may work, but I doubt the designers left it such a simple fix. The colour choices tend towards invisibility on the background too. anything to make u buy their better package or you risk greater losses. Evil people.
