when my computer is idle, it eventually locks up from internet traffic savings. crompton is off. if i use a short idle time, it may help. i can tolerate the delays of reconnecting. i'm currently connected by ethernet, but would like something universal.

Only ff afaik. Computer constantly suddenly freezing. CPU usage low. RAM ok, lo internet., Is something happening? Belong NBN. Fttp. T4800 .

PC or SSD fail as same fault with upupbb32. Will test further.
May be CPU overheating? No monitoring.

Internet browsers can do all kinds of things in the background.
So can web pages when all you are doing is having it open in a browser.
Go into the browser preferences/settings and turn off/disable stuff that can run on it's own.

call me stupid - it was a flat mouse battery. i don't recognise it because the led is still bright. i'll have to recharge and swap them on a regular day each week. i'll setup an on screen flag.
