Re: Bugs using google chrome
@mimine :-
Heh. Oh, boy. It doesn't get any better, I can tell you that. It only goes in one direction from here. Downhill..!
Answer me this; have you ever started a Chromium-based browser from the terminal.....then watched what happens while you're using it?
Every Chromium-based browser ever built, since the first release back in 2008, is unbelievably "noisy" in the terminal. Even running it in a mainstream distro, with the source code compiled by the very people who maintain the repositories, you will STILL get a ton of complaints.
You want to know why?
Google decided, right from that very first build nearly 15 years ago, that their browser was going to generate an on-going, 'real-time' debug report ALL THE TIME IT WAS RUNNING.....primarily for the benefit of the world-wide network of developers who contribute to the Chromium Project. And, mostly due to the fact that Google's 24/7 autonomous 'build-bot' setup is totally unique to them, you can never, EVER stop this stuff in the terminal. Nobody else in the world is able to run the same kind of setup they have - their 'in-house' OS is exclusive to Google - so you're wasting your time even trying!
I've used Chrome since day one. I learnt to ignore this stuff, many, many years ago. If the browser runs, and does what it's supposed to do - the way it's supposed to do it - that's all that really matters. I can understand that fussy, hyper-critical individuals may find this behaviour annoying, perhaps even offensive.....but there ain't a thing you can do to stop it.
(*shrug*)

This is info on adding software to Puppy Linux you may find helpful.

Welcome to Linux software!
The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
