i need an hardware upgrade?

i have NBN with a new FTTP modem on Belong Starter pack.
new TP-B17 modem/router, 150Mb/S
Panasonic 57in plasma 4k TV, with 3x hdmi and 1x vga in-connections.
HP 11-Y010nr - needs pwr switch ribbon cable re-attatched to mobo. Where pls?
2GB RAM from hp 14-250 G4, rtl8188cu USB wifi,
dual core T4800, 2GB RAM, 500GB SSD. SATA
2 security cams, 1 with pan/tilt. 1 ethernet and 1 wifi connected.
Ezycap vhs -> digital USB video capture device, and 80 vhs movies.

need 2 computers:

1 as dedicated 24/7 camera server with wifi and AnyDesk control,
no kvm needed after startup and no storage.

1 for internet, email, journal, checking security video and using Ezycap.
i will use modest external hard drives for movies and limit security
to brief motion detection saves, perhaps upto 30 per day.

if both pc's run fossapup64-9.5.1 or later, what are the minimum specs
for what will do each job pls? i expect to use all desktops and have up to
3 windows open in each. i need video and cpu capacity to stream up to 3
screens at once over 3 desktops. i normally use libre office, firefox, kmag
florence and AnyDesk.

Just a BIT of help on one item...hopefully...maybe..

I have run Easycap USB Video grabber with OBS studio on a frugal install of dpupbuster64, as Pulseaudio is essential, IMHO. It all runs well on an elcheapo 8GB RAM Beelink SBC . Actually the OS is installed on a USB, which makes it portable between machines.

So thats my tip. Get 8GB or more RAM. It also helps if you run windows programs under WINE a lot.

Yes today with modern programs, 4Gb of RAM (or more) is better.
