Missing files in /tmp/bootsysinit.log

Post by mimine »

/tmp/bootsysinit.log

/etc/init.d/minidlna: line 42: /lib/init/vars.sh: No such file or directory
/etc/init.d/procps: line 4: /lib/init/init-d-script: No such file or directory

is it normal ? Any solution ?

I think you are wasting your time, unless you find a bug that completely keeps something from working.

Fossapup64 9.5 is final release and any minor bugs in it, are going to stay.
No updated versions are being developed.

Any bugs installing a specific program, you are adding.
Usually ends up being the fact, that the program package was not compiled, specifically for the specific Puppy version.

Saying you installed Chrome gives no useful info.
You could have gotten the wrong package of it.

No software is 100% bug free.

Welcome to Linux software  :!:

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
