Which PUP/DOG are you running?

For many:

  1. Open a terminal

  2. enter 'arp'

What do you see?

Hope this is helpful

Doesn't a URL of

Code: Select all

192.168.1.1

.....in a browser usually give you access to your router? It does for me. And I believe most routers have the admin password printed on their label or in their manual, somewhere. Ours has a wee plastic 'card' that sits in a slot on the back of the router...

(For basic security, this needs changing. 99 times out of 100, the default password is SO simple, OOTB, that a 3-yr old could guess it!)

Just my two-penn'orth, FWIW.

Mike. ;)

my mistake, i'm using upupbb32 last ver. pls transfer thread to that forum.

# arp
detects only router
router address, hw type, mac num

# arp-scan --interface=eth0 --localnet
ioctl: no such device

eth0 is actually enp2s0

# arp-scan --interface=enp2s0 --localhost

unrecognised option

# arp-scan interface=enp2s0 localhost
interface: datalink type: EN10MB Ethernet
WARNING: get host address failed for "interface=enp2s0:
starting arp-scan 1.9: 1 host scanned in 1.957 with 1 host (http://www.nta-monitor.com/tools/arp-scan/)

0 packets dropped, 0 packets received.

so, i need an nta viewer???? and what else pls?

Here is PeasyPort v3.2. Use the MAC tool.

[Update] Many anonymous downloads. Zero test reports. Boof is gone. Package removed.
