black layer on top of desktop, how ro rid of the layer? (SOLVED)

Post by gychang »

I have installed FP64 on a USB stick, using frugalpup installer and using the USB stick to launch FP64 on my UEFI PC. I have configured to my likiing with several apps from the PPM. My save folder is on a sda2 (USB stick). I noticed suddenly black layer on top of my desktop wallpaper (arrows point to the wallpaper on the bottom layer seen when the tray is configured with shortened width as on the photo). This black layer covers up all my HD partitions icons, but the layer still shows the conky. Rox configuration with default panel/pin. I use the integrated intel graphics 530.

Anyone know what has caused the black panel on top of the desktop?, what can I do to rid of the layer?

Is the screen resolution set to the correct setting?
Usually best to have it set to the native resolution setting for the monitor.

I have configured to my liking with several apps from the PPM.

What specific apps???
What specific changes did you make with what specific app from PPM??

The image you posted indicates you changed the dimensions of the tray.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o

How did you apply the wallpaper.?
Stretched or full screen.

Does this occur with all wallpapers.?
Try downloading an image in your resolution and then right click image and set as wallpaper.
