this was working a few months ago, but now not. have tried to reinstall with ppm but no luck, anyone have a fix or some old pet files/tks

This is links-2.23 which is latest and newer than the version offered by Ubuntu.
Compiled from source code in FossaPup, text and graphics mode both enabled.
