my puppy is installed on a usb drive. my save file is on my ubuntu 1 gig partition. even thought no save file. could i use the usb on another computer and boot into puppy? i know i would have to adjust the boot.

"HOW" did you install it on your stick?
Program, method... via Windows or Linux?
If the stick boots live on one box, yes, you could clean boot on another.
What you don't want is booting into a savefile on a different box.
It would most likely choke on the new hardware configuration.

I've got a savefile on the same stick I boot from. To get around using it I've created a 1mb "dummy" save so that when Puppy gets around to choosing which item to boot, I select NONE from the ensuing boot menu. This effectively allows me to boot into a pristine environment... something you'd "4SURE" want to do when booting into a different box.
