Why are two sfs_load scripts in FossaPup64?

Post by taersh »

Hi.

FossaPup has two sfs_load scripts.

- sfs_load
- sfs_loadr

Why is sfs_loadr in?
What is sfs_loadr for?

It seems to be equal to sfs_load. Version number in both is 3.0.

Edit:

Last edit comments is version 2.3.7.
Version parameter says: 3.0

Hi.

Again:

Why is sfs_loadr in?
What is sfs_loadr for?

And why is this also in Bionic64?

It's not inside current Woof-CE sources.

The second script is from an older version of pkg ( the cli package manager) . I don't think it's used anymore now pkg is part of woofce and in fossapup probably isn't needed. In bionic it probably is needed though as this was built before it became part of woof.

I checked the source of pkg in both, bionic64 and fossa64.
Right, in bionic64's pkg there's sfs_loadr used. In fossa64's pkg just sfs_load is used.

Thanks.

At some point in the past sfs_load didn't work without X ... so I made a stripped down version called sfs_loadr that does work without X...

I think sfs_load now works without X..
