Out of disappointment due to the lack of a decent, DE/WM agnostic screen magnifier, I wrote one myself.
It's inspired by Win XP built-in Magnifier.

There is a 32bit and 64bit version.

when installed.
Start from menu entry in Utility.
It can be turned off and on by icon in desktop tray.

Tray icon has Right click menu with other options and info.

tray icon actions: Place mouse pointer over tray icon.
see help for different actions and how to do them.

archive contains 32bit and 64bit PET packages (both built in Fatdog 721 rootfs), as well as source code.

The things you do not tell us, are usually the clue to fixing the problem.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be older.
This is not what I expected :o
