Re: Icon issue with dual monitors

It sounds that you have both monitors setup as one in your configuration script, not individuals, the default as most usually only have one. You need to setup them as individuals, then you can have the configuration files for each of the screens icon sets as individual sets. You might have to ask ba...

Re: Thinking about the logo

I've seen a circle used, at least one of the Origon rainbow groups in the USA have that. Another is one of the rainbow family groups in qld (raq.org.au) have them on a multi-coloured banner, don't know if it's registered though. Back in the cpm/mpm days there were a number of local groups that were ...

Re: Thinking about the logo

Considering what it does, yes OverlayOS would be a good name for a version type. However it's already taken. The OverlayFS pseudo-filesystem was first included in the Linux kernel 3.18 release and they also took OverlayOS in the alpha stages. It is apparently under an Apache License 2.0, which means...

Hi, @scsijon Posting about your "Problem 1: The sound ...". I'm using a LogiLink UA0053 USB sound card and a USB stick with 4.4 on it. No problems over here. Could it be a timing issue (hardware having not enough time to initialize itself) with your hardware? [/list] Very nice job! That's...

OK, since you have another 4.4, start that one up and run a filecheck on the faulty ones partition, maybe a sector or file has been corrupted, it should tell you and allow it to be rebuilt. please let us know your results when you have time, as what fixes for someone may save someone else in the fut...

@FeodorF From the top of the page, yes, something like that error, but with ibiblio.org , which means there is a problem with the package, not ppm, but as seen in his following message below yours, that's not what getting, his system can't find ibliblio when using ppm, but can via the browser. @Feodorf It was working for me too, I wanted to see if the problem was access to the packages or a ppm problem, maybe timeout, since he could manually d/l them using the browser it looks like it's ppm related, so then i thought maybe on the offchance his database related. Berto, can you try d/l using your browser rather than petget please and see what happens, path is http://distro.ibiblio.org/easyos/amd64/packages/compat/oe/dunfell/ After that, whether it fails or not, also try updating the petget database in petget and see if that helps; I'll stay on for a while to...

? nim compiled and shelled

I know from reading that the main use of nim is for compiled 'script', but I wonder if it would be possible to add it as a shell as well, such as ash, bash, etc, has in them. It would then enable it to be used while designing code or for short snipits that compiled code was unwarrented.

Problems are being encountered with Limine. I have raised two issues, #184 and #185 at the Limine site:

https://github.com/limine-bootloader/limine/issues

And as usual (don't these people ever sleep), already fixed with a comment to update limine version, they are up to 3.8.2.
