I enabled DRM earlier when running older version 11.1 (and worked ok) , then updated to newest v11.3.2 and still ok, so yes ,I think using a profile from e.g. v11.1 or 11.2 should work .

Indeed. I think that this forum is the best source to find the Puppy that suits you the most, there are many choices (ok, too much ) (or/and any other "portable" or "frugal install concept' such as other 'Puppy-like' distros that are shared here).

For me it's slow now, seems to depend on the time of day, yesterday it was slow in the morning, but ok in the evening.
EDIT: just 10 min later, it's fast again
