Seems bionicpups and fossapup64 seem to work with ventoy but other pups may not work.

Not a problem, here are two alternative options which works:
1. Avoid the youtube site altogether and watch youtube videos via DuckDuckGo or Bing.

How is it done in the DDG?

Hi, I like to boot from CD when testing new puppies - mainly because of the age and design of the typical laptops I have accumulated. gthumb doesn't work...

With the up to date changes of sfs etc. I downloaded gthumb from PPM (had to add more repositories listed since default setting only had gthumb-data) but won't launch from the menu. From terminal I get this, I added similar libs but still not working. Any ideas?

Re: How to kill everything when Puppy is going to freeze due to 100% CPU usage?

I had a similar issue of CPU / RAM maxing out in my fanless old miniPC.

1. CPU scaling tool to throttle less CPU use
2. add zram function to maximize use of RAM
I did not answer your question directly but these may prevent lockup.

Re: How to change font size in findnrun? (SOLVED)

got it figured out. Fonts in rox-filer and findnrun get changed with the line
gtk-font-name="Ubuntu 16", larger number larger font. Some distro may have to add the line to /etc/gtk-2.0/gtkrc (may have to create the file if not there).

Yes, it's working.

You can adjust the size inside the script. IIRC there are instructions in the comments.

my interpretation is 2.6G is saved as zram, seems reasonable with 4G of total RAM in my case... :thumbup2:

I just tested the debian scripts that I usually use for zram and they seem to work fine. It might help low ram machines avoid/delay the browser lockup syndrome. The slightly commented debian scripts is zram.sh. I made little start and stop scripts to go with it. see comments in zram.sh. 1. remove ....
