Re: QBat, what settings.

Hi
You could use "/etc/acpi/actions/acpi_poweroff.sh" or whichever script you have in there that is the power button script. Instead of "/usr/bin/lowbat"

I'm not sure about a good level or how much it will save a possibly doomed battery...

Hi, From which OS? This is critical info to get an answer on this one :) I haven't used windows for years but i gather this is a good option... https://rufus.ie/ easy dd from easyOS is a great tool, simple gui. Should be able to run from most linux installs. (so far so good for me) remove the fake ....

Re: Keeping track of what's in adrv, ydrv etc.

Interesting indeed I have had a similar conundrum recently, kinda... In the process of refining a remaster of fossapup for my audio project, which at some point it became clear that I would share, so I had to decide what to do with /var/packages... I had combined the adrv and the main puppy.sfs whic...

Re: Make .sfz Sound Files with GUI

I see your point for sure... There are many cases that would require some, or a lot, of manual work to produce the single sfz that was desired. So much depending on the state of your .wav collection and what it is you are trying to create... Some could be very complicated while, some more forgiving,...

Re: Make .sfz Sound Files with GUI

Interesting. this is what this script assigns when selecting multiples as well. I think in some way it is better to have the .sfz files in the directory with the .wavs rather than next to it... again maybe just a matter of taste... because to move or copy them, just the one directory is needed. Coul...

Re: Make .sfz Sound Files with GUI

Just a matter of one's sense of "organization" I suppose. Multiple files option is useful when you'd like to make a kit from only some of the files in a directory. Absolute paths are useful if you wish to organize your sfz files together in a directory away from the source files. To have o...

hey there, nice work so far. and quick... some observations.. so it seems if the directory path contains spaces, the gui does not accept the location. The number is the PID. process id. The terminal is not hanging exactly. The terminal window is connected to the program you ran (as if it was running only in that window) unless you indicate there are other jobs to do with "&" then it will "release" that process. It is invalu...

Yes I agree backi JASpup the simplest solution for you will be to install gru4dos on sdc (the disk with the boot flag) from another puppy live boot. Then you could refine your setup from there once you understand it better. it's really no risk. grub4dos is (imo) the easiest to work with and very goo...
