@zuzia: You might want to try PeasyDisc from the old forum. It has simpler graphics display.

... on puppy bionic. All games work and all but only this program have problems :( i dont know why...

Then nothing help me :( best way is install pburn on my laptop but i cant delete all os now then check other config and look is same problem or not...

Sorry long time i not here coz work, but i check all i install cdrtools3 and is better coz i can move windows when burning no grafical glith and i see blinking green cursor in log windows but still is total empty. Looks like no -verbose option... :(

Hi maybe but this is wierd i just download iso fom puppy official site and i not change or install anything becouse pburn id default application.

Step by step and some bug force me soon to change os to fossa :( but i rly dont wont i like bionic, in fossa defoult vim is 8.1 more plugins work, Zathura ...

It seems from post 3 in this thread that your Puppy runs cdrkit instead of cdrtools as required for pBurn to work properly. The last line of the output shows 'genisofs' which is the executable in the cdrkit package.

Are you using English as the language in Bionicpup64?

Pburn>File>Preferences>General tab
Is language set to auto?

From the very first time you installed Bionicpup64 8.0.
Did Pburn show info in progress windows?

Try running Pburn In a terminal/console.
Type pburn
Press enter key.

Does it show any errors in the terminal?

... log sceen... But this is super wierd. Artefact only when i start burn but when i save log after burn i see all in that file :( I have no idea why pburn have that problem.

I burn whole blueRay disk and all without any error, but when burning proces not end i not see any progress or errors, warning ...

If you are trying to use Pburn by non GUI terminal commands.
I know nothing about doing that.
I use it by the normal Pburn GUI.

First, Pburn comes installed in Bionicpup64 8.0.

If you did any installs of Pburn, by using PPM.
Go into PPM->Uninstall
Any Pburn listed, uninstall it.
Do a reboot and ...

... even if i check size before start, also i not use overburn mod, then this is wierd. Soon i check dependency and tell more.

I check version:
root# pburn -v
Pburn 4.3.19

Its Wierd i not see it in ppm dependency list... any Pburn name... Why no one add search window here? :D but i look all list ...

I tried Pburn in my install of Bionicpup64 8.0
Dependency check shows all required present.

All the windows look normal and show information as it burns the disk.

Did you do anything just before you noticed this problem?
Installed something, changed settings, deleted something, etc.....?

Run Pburn->Help->Dependency Check
Is it identifying anything missing in the required items?

Yes my bionic was updated before i even start burn anything.
Restart after update is important?
Yes you need to reboot and save after doing the update.
Some of these updates, affect stuff that is part of normal operation, that is loaded, during boot up.
May even be something, that fixes a bug ...

Hello @Zuzia Seems I remember reading somewhere on the forum that this is the "now-normal" status behavior when burning in Pburn. As you already report, the missing status is in the log.

Todey i try again i think and i check after another updete that help or no... Meybe this is my GPU foult coz i use nvidia "RTX2060 Super". But OpenGL is no problem i think meybe Pburn need other library to display all properly, example Python or Java...

Have you done the update to Bionicpup64 8.0?
If no.
Use Quickpet program (icon on desktop for Quickpet)
Quickpet->Info->Bionicpup updates
Reboot and save so the new changes are now being used.

Now try Pburn.

When after burn process i save log to file i see all in that. But not in pburn terminal coz all empty.
