I tested it and I end up with a .csv type file. Which opens up in geany and Gnumeric on this machine.
Can you tell what type the file is after you download it?
It has a .csv extension, but it doesn't look like CSV. Gnumeric refuses to open it. Here the first part of the file:

You have to open it in UTF-8 format. Other formats don't work. I don't have Linux so I can't say anything about that, but OpenFFFICE (the calculator program) or Microsoft Excel work. You have to open it in UTF-8 format with a spreadsheet program.

If you want to receive posts that a certain user has written, you just have to replace the name with a new one in the posts table in the database. Or you can use this extension here:

YES there is a hacker group called Anonymous but there is no need to expect any complaints. And when a visitor writes something (logged out and if they have the right to do so) they are entered as user number Guest with a random number sequence as the poster of the post.
