FireFox esr is certainly useful with the tweaks mentioned. Don't be lazy, fix it. I note that FF will report 100% unique, BUT change evey time the browser closes then opens... thus altering the fingerprint EVERY time. Of course hiding amongst the common is tantamount to Chrome/Android w/o security ...

2FA is IMHO a hoax when using a smartphone to do BOTH factors. One needs a linux computer (Puppy w/firewall and fiberoptic: wifi=OFF), and a dumb(flip) phone. Two devices for 2FA.

Having your puppy firewall is a good start, but the browser can be a SIGNIFICANT problem. about:config is your friend.

1.) autocomplete and typeaheadfind need to be FALSE.
2.) Telemetry needs to be FALSE except for addons and certs, urls to 127.0.0.1 ditto for send
3.) Fingerprint needs to be TRUE ...

Firefox... in about config search for telemetry... FALSE almost all options( EXCEPT extensions), and set url to 127.0.0.1 a rather intuitive read
Then search for send and repeat.
