I also took a backup of the save folder using the 'Pupsave Backup' tool prior to doing anything.
Additionally, as you have suggested, I am keeping the 10.0.6 version as a fallback.

I am currently using frugal installed BookwormPup64 (10.0.6) with a save folder. I want to upgrade from 10.0.6 to 10.0.7.
I looked around in the forum and was unable to find a post on how to do upgrade BookwormPup64, but I did find one post for Vallina Dpup.
