Hi all, if it's any help, I found bleachbit in the package mgr for Daedalus/ Devuan.
I put Bleachbit in the search for all repo's and it came up. I just did a clean , not extensive, and got 4.2 mb of scraps.
As a newbie, I can't see why it wouldn't work in Scarthgap or perhaps as a portable. Or ...

I have Scarthgap and Daedalus up and running on 3.2 usb's alone and on drives to play with. Presently learning to add deb repo to Daedalus in container.

Hi all. wondering if this script is still current to turn off journalling and enable encryption in Scarthgap 6.4.4. i found the script under -Installing easy to drive. tune2fs -O encrypt,^has_journal /dev/mmcblk0p6. (used my HD sda2)

Don't know what happened there.
I installed Bookworm to main drive via new iso using DD and solved the problem. Next adventure is to install Bookworm pup permanent on main drive. not ISO
The installation set/up demands doing that were different than the installation set up via usb.

Downloaded BW64 iso to new HP 3.2 256 g USB. Fired straight up- had to play with Network connection. no conky appeared till second boot. ISO download and usb install was all done via Mint on an external wd drive.

@williwaw Have yet to run Network Manager. Put fresh install QV, on samsung stick and fired it up on my mini zotec which has MInt install. Network manager won't fire up on my L390 Yoga with QV.
When i removed windows off the Yoga, it has left around 20 entries in my bootmgr.

@williwaw nmtui says no network manager -doesn't exist. When Dandaedalus starts i get a note saying can't find network manager name- org freedom desktop and next line says it's started.
I don't know what i did to inspire the system notification on QV that said that the manager has inbuilt problems ...

@williwaw Re network manager.- Right click brings up edit connections etc- Nothing happens when trying to enter anything. Notifications bounce between network manager is disabled and Network manager isn't running.

I have QV on a .3 usb. Install and startup smooth . But I have no Internet. Says Network manager is off. I can't start it. Any suggestions appreciated.

Brave dropped the repeating box wanting a password for Default keyring before opening, then started again. I don't know what that is, Brave can go.

Have sorted Icon start with brave/ vivaldi . I used p/find to find Home..brave/brave etc.

When i click Icon for brave to open ,a box comes up demanding a password for a default keyring, i cancel it and it repeats and have to cancel again before Brave opens.

Then, I think you dragged the wrong thing onto the desktop.
You need to open /home/vivaldi in rox-filer then drag the icon onto the desktop.

So, maybe you dragged /home/vivaldi onto the desktop, instead of /home ...

Updated to D 6.3.92 . Alone on internal 256 gb Samsung HD on L390 yoga. No worries except install failed to find delta which has been common occurrence with me.

I would like a way to have my own desktop pictures and a way to make sfs files out of my files and contents.. And ask if there is any literature for the easy commandline chores so i can do some things on my own. I haven't found the search on the forums very accurate with returns and run short of time.
