Fixed... loading module hid_multitouch fixes the issue and flsynclient now works... This solved my touchpad woes in the Kirkstone 5.8.3 release on my Acer laptop today. The module doesn't load on boot, but modprobe from the command line loads it just fine. # lsmod|grep multi # modprobe hid ...
