Re: Applications in pupsave file?

Wall_axe :- Ok. Perusing your other thread, I'm assuming this is Fossapup64, yes? And you say you have a maximum space limitation of 4 GB, yes? This tells me that you've created a save- file .....which is the old way of doing things. Any reason why you didn't create a save- folder .....or were you ...

LaZPaint image creator/editor - 32- and 64-bit - in 'portable' format...

Afternoon, gang. I'd forgotten all about this one! I built these nearly a year ago, with the intention of testing for a bit, then uploading and posting about them.......but until ozboomer posted in the Pinta-portable thread just a couple of days ago - he wanted a very small image editor, and Pinta's...

ozboomer :- Ah, hell. I'm really sorry about that.......I forgot to include the link to to my 'portable' version. v7.1.6 I tested under a whole bunch of Puppies, and it seems to run anywhere. Not much good my mentioning it, and then not letting you try it, is there? You can find the v7.1.6 portable...

ozboomer :- Um.....O-kay. If you want small, you could always take a look at the LaZPaint-portable. https://lazpaint.github.io/ It's like a really, really tiny lightweight 'cross' between the GIMP and Krita......with shades of CinePaint thrown in for good measure. Tarball's a little over 3MB, unpac...

@mikewalsh

The toolkit is useful for Raspberry Pi applications.

@Jasper :-

I might have a 'play' with this. See what it's like for GUIs compared to, say, YAD (which I use all the time).

Got a download link for it? bigpup :- FLTK.....or VideoView? VideoView may not be much use to you now. It was built back in the mid-2000s, apparently, hasn't been updated for many years, and was only EVER 32-bit. If you're running the 32-bit compat_libs for any reason (which I do, for various older...

Governor :- Coupla points here. With the 'portable' versions of all these Chromium-based browsers, we've disabled the internal update mechanism. Quite simply, if you let that run, it then goes and writes the updated version into the main filesystem as normal, and that's NOT what we want. We want to...
