Re: Shouldn't we be *selling* woof-CE?

Here is something in Woof-CE many people could get involved in. Updating the software that is in the Woof-CE/noarch repository. https://github.com/puppylinux-woof-CE/woof-CE-noarch/tree/master/pet_packages-noarch If any of these have newer versions they need to be in this repository. Look at the la...

Re: Avidemux or simplescreenrecorder problem

About the only way I can think of to "convert" to DivX format is with ffmpeg. On the command-line, you need to be a top-flight guru to even understand it, but Jasper's suggestion above of using QWinFF might be the way to go..... I've reached the limit of MY abilities with this stuff, I'm a...

Re: Avidemux or simplescreenrecorder problem

bigphil :- Well, this is a sod, and no mistake! When I first built the XVidCap-portables, I had them working correctly with audio in all my Puppies. It's not one I use a lot; personally, I prefer recordMyDesktop myself, so I don't tend to look at XVidCap very much. I've just tried the 32-bit portab...

bigphil :- Hm.... I've found myself that it may be a deeper, underlying issue with the way XVidCap is implemented under the 64-bit architecture. If I try to record audio, it comes out sounding a bit like I've been using laughing gas at the dentist.....all kinda "squeaky" & "warbl...

Small update - now @ v1.6.

Added options to "Saved files..." button; you can either view your saved images directly in Viewnior, OR open the CamShots directory with ROX so you can move, copy, delete, etc.....

Link as above in post #1.

@Geek3579 :-

You could try my latest creation if you ARE after capturing a 'still' JPG image.....FSWebcamGUI.

Entirely up to you.....unless of course, '.jpg' was a 'typo'..?

Geek3579 :- HI @nilsonmorales :- This script works well. Now, how would I store the image from the webcam into a .jpg ??? I don't think that would be possible with the script as-is. Currently, it's written to give a 'Live' videostream.....and from the sound of things, you're asking for a 'still' sn...

Hi, Jasper . Here's the best definition of "do-ocracy" I've been able to find. It probably encompasses both me AND thee.....and perhaps 20 or so others within our community. Basically, if someone feels strongly enough about doing something, they will take the initiative and DO it! https://...
