Re: "vidxtractor" utility to save portion of mp4, mov, avi or flv video.

fredx181 :- I've done a bit of a re-write here. I have a pair of JvS's 'static' ffmpeg binaries residing permanently at that location - one 32-bit, one 64-bit - and originally I'd built the utility to make use of these via a check on 'uname' and a pair of auto-switcher scripts, but.......in all ...

Re: "vidxtractor" utility to save portion of mp4, mov, avi or flv video.

greengeek :- Here's my 'take' on it....using a YAD-based GUI, and making use of the command I found over at StackOverflow. I accept what you were saying about short video source-clips; for that use-case, your premise of setting 'duration' for the extracted clip - and doing it in seconds - is ...

Right, gang. Here's another of the occasional updates I give this thing.

Opera-portable is now at v112.0.5197.30 (based around Chromium 126).

Download link as in post #1 (note, this has now changed to my SukuDrive a/c).

Enjoy!

Re: "vidxtractor" utility to save portion of mp4, mov, avi or flv video.

That is an interesting limitation. I suppose it is possible that a net cam or web cam used as a security camera might produce a video that is longer than 24 hours. greengeek :- Possible.....but doubtful. Most security cam setups don't tend to record continuously at full, normal frame rate. usually ...

The computers with a SD card reader that can boot are usually internally connected to the USB system. Nearly any modern computer can boot from USB. Even the old ones if you say booted PLOP from floppy or cd could boot from usb. Yes; that was the thing I noticed when it began functioning. It showed ...
