In my experience, there is no perceptible difference between VGA and HDMI.
Is there a problem with what you have?

Re: Zoneminder on F96-CE_4 with Hiawatha Web Server
I love the idea of Zoneminder, but have never had any luck getting cameras that work properly with it. Recently ended up buying an expensive proprietary camera system instead.
Is there a trick to getting webcams to work with it?

Hi @jamesbond
Thanks for the update. Graphicsmagick is fixed. Imagemagick spits out an MD5 mismatch error and won't update.

Re: CUPS-PDF returns "invalid filename" error
Can you copy the CUPS (/etc/cups or /etc/cups/ppd) directory from the working install to the non-working install, overwriting the problematic files?

Re: Compiz-Reloaded SFS for Fatdog64-901
seems that this might be a chrome only issue, but with wobbly windows turned on and then trying to move the window by grabbing the title bar is horrendous. All other windows don't seem to have an issue.

It's annoyed me for a bit. I usually use dual monitors, so when I open it up it opens right in the middle, half on the left monitor and half on the right

Re: How to use torrents and download large files, with only 4 GB of RAM?
Mount a disk and save the torrent to there.
Either use a hard drive or a USB / flash drive of some kind, all will work.

@Flash I have read a story that someone's HP printer stopped working. They contacted HP support and were informed that the printer has been disabled because their credit card had expired

Re: How to transfer music file to email attachment?
Hey Sky
To copy a track, you'd need to rip it from the CD. You can't just copy the files from the CD and expect it to work.
What puppy are you using? Most come with a ripper or some kind. If you rip the track, it'll create a shareable file, like an mp3 which you'd be able to send to your pals.

Re: CUPS upgrade question
I'm not an expert on printers, but that sounds a whole lot more like a driver or more likely a settings issue for your printer, rather than a CUPS issues.
What driver are you using?

Re: Crashing Machine
@wizard 100% on the money.
Memtest found 123140 errors in my RAM.
PC had a 16 and an 8gig stick. Did the test with one stick at a time, of course it was the 16 that died
Running on 8gig now, which realistically will suffice, but was nice to have lots of extra...

How to tell why this machine is crashing?
I have a machine that is giving me random errors lately. I'm pretty sure it is hardware related, but not sure if there's a way to tell what's causing the problem, whether it's a drive, memory or mobo or something else.
This is the screen dump I just got from a crash...
Any help or pointers?
