Why easyos hasn't a clipboard manager by default? I don't know this because other linux hasn't the problem. For example, fatdog is normal for me.

But if you download a very big file like a film, /files/download is too small for it. That is too safe.

Copy some text in geany on easyos 5.7, then close geany, open another editor like leafpad, paste the text, you will find you can NOT paste anything!

I think you mean is you want to save the session to the EASY v5.7 image booted via Ventoy?

Yes, you can do it. You need to enlarge the image to save the session. I am doing this and very successful.

I think it is the best file manager.

No way to edit the img file?

I want to mount the img file and edit it.

After I got the 2GB image file, can I extend the image file to 3GB with some commands? I want to add some files to the easy2 partition.

I have a 8GB usb stick with easyos on it, but I used the space only 2GB .

Now, I want to backup the usb stick into a img file.

When I use the command line "dd if=/dev/sda of=myeasy.img", I get a 8GB file, it is too big for me.

So, how to make a small image only 2GB?

By the way, EasyOS have not 3 files:

/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libaudit.so.1

These are in almost every puppy. TigerVNC can run directly in them.

Testing in Vmware

Now，I can use ventoy-1.0.97 boot easy-5.6.5-amd64.img easily.No any problem.

It looks well but can't work.

My mouse can work on other linux and windows.

I can use any file manager except ROX.

I think Dolphin and Okular are too big and too heavy to easy. I use spacefm on easy ,it is small,fast and powerful.

I use the Openbox desktop, it can place the task bar on the left of the screen, many task can show in one desktop.

On virtuabox, no set is required for the sound and network.

I think you should add the driver for virtualbox, such as VBoxVGA and VBoxSVGA, not only VMSVGA.

See my complete example code, to add sound and network support.

You code about sound and network dosen't work on my qemu.

I test it on Virtualbox today.

VBoxManage modifyvm linux_test --memory 4096 --graphicscontroller vmsvga

It is ok but I must add the switch "--graphicscontroller vmsvga"

Other linux needn't this. Maybe easyos need some driver for virtualbox.

This is my test. EasyOS 5.3.2 on QEMU 8.02.

I download it from www.qemu.org, compile and install it.

I use the commandline:

qemu-system-x86_64 -boot d -m 2048 -accel kvm -hda ~/easyos532.img
