I remastered my fatdog903,the initrd file is about 800M. When I boot it from grub2 , it crashed . The tip message like "the initrd is too big" , "out of memory"," the magic number ...". How can I make a very large initrd file? My memory is 32GB, the initrd is NOT big for me.

Your Appimage is too big!
Using a 1.11GB appimage is needn't.
I use a Only 7MB tar.xz file to install qemu7 on bookwormpup64.

您好icake，提个小小的建议: 您给FATDOG制作的简体中文包中，把libreoffice翻译成了“LO 名”，类似的情况还有GIMP，本来看原文就知道是什么，翻译之后反倒还要猜测真实意思。不知道这是不是照搬的其它地区叫法，至少在简体中文用户看来难以理解。希望您能考虑一下不同地区用户的习惯，谢谢。

I updated the limine bootloader to 7.x, then limine can't find the vmlinuz file.

Why? New limine don't support easyos?

Please, refine your english, because what you mean can only be interpreted. To install EasyOS itself on a QEmu virtual machine looks to be an interesting topic. I don't know if it's even possible at the moment, but I think that this thread should be anyway moved to the Containers and VMs section ...

What specific version of EasyOS??? Since I know easyos, every version is so. Now it is 5.81. There is not the file "/proc/acpi/button/lid/LID/state" on my easyos file system, but I found "/proc/acpi/button/lid/LID0/state". Maybe this is the reason? When I run easyos on my laptop, I close the lid and open it again then I can't get into the system, just a black screen.

I think run easyos in virtual usb disk is quite fast than in real usb disk, so I write a tool for it.

If you want to boot easyos by ventoy and need anysize space for work, my tool can help you.

Why easyos hasn't a clipboard manager by default? I don't know this because other linux hasn't the problem. For example, fatdog is normal for me.

I usually download files to my harddisk like /mnt/xxx, but when I use chromium on easyos 5.7 to do this, it can't download anything to my harddisk, it only can download files to /files or /root. I can download files on /mnt/xxx by wget, so I think something wrong with chromium on easyos 5.7. May be ...

Copy some text in geany on easyos 5.7, then close geany, open another editor like leafpad, paste the text, you will find you can NOT paste anything!

I try to copy another geany from fatdog to instead geany on easyos 5.7, but it crash.

I think you mean is you want to save the session to the EASY v5.7 image booted via Ventoy?

Yes, you can do it. You need to enlarge the image to save the session. I am doing this and very successful.
