Thanks for your help.
I got it working. I noticed that all the other files in both autostart folders were .desktop files so I followed dimkr suggestion and created a .desktop file and that worked.
This version of vanilladpup 11 is a little old version 99 from last January ...

Probably in /root/Startup .

Thanks Fred. However in Vanilladpup 11 there doesn't seem to be a ~/Startup. I can't figure out why it's not running. It works when I run it. It's just a one liner to scale the video so that I can see it.

where is the best place to put a script I want to run on startup?

Does anyone know how to give spacefm a dark background and white text?
Also does spacefm have color for file types?

I finally got this to work.
You need the <windowRules> tag around the <windowsRule> tag

windowRules>
   <windowRule identifier="firefox*">
     <action name="Maximize" direction="both" />
    </windowRule>
 </windowRules>

Is there a quick way to change sfwbar icon theme?

I am playing around with Vanilliadpup 11 again.
How do I sett Firefox to open maximized under labwc?

I got the binary from Fossapup64. It has the full version of tree
The binary is small only 84k
I just put it in my-application bin directory. Deleted the link to busybox tree in /usr/bin and created a link to it in my-application/bin

I'm using Vanilladpup and the tree command it a symlink to busybox.
To get the full version install it with apt or do as I did and use the binary from another pup with the full version.

I hate to say this... However I still am having slow access time on the forum. Sometimes 15 seconds to load a page. Also just now when I was mentioning you it couldn't fine a match for like 10 seconds.
I know you are working on this just wanted to let you know.

@dimkr Installing udisk2 worked. Hardinfo now shows storage info.
fyi install from the command line failed with unable to find package. However Synaptic found it no problem.

I was going to suggest that.
I don't see an easy way to move it over as the 2 system don't play together well.
You have lots of room on your fat32 partition so make a big save file.

firefox-esr.bin works for me

@paperboy1994 Can you can boot puppy the way it is now?
If you can open rox filer and try this path /mnt/home
You should see all the sfs files and your save folder inside one of the folders there.
