Re: How can I change the format of the date displayed on the tooltip of the clock in system tray?

I don't think the tooltip can be formatted, unfortunately. The clocks in Fatdog64 812 and 901 are two different plugins, with different capabilities. The LxQt team discontinued the old clock plugin in favor of the worldclock plugin. One can see in source code commit [1], which added a tooltip to wo...

How can I change the format of the date displayed on the tooltip of the clock in system tray?

I would like to configure the clock in system tray of FD64-901 so that its tooltip displays the date with the same format as the tooltip of FD64-812's clock does. However, I do not know how to do it. Could you please give me a hint? By the way, the tooltip of the clock in system tray of Fatdog64-901...

A bug of Fatdog64-901's update-ca-certificates and its fix

[ BUG ] Run Fatdog64-901 's /usr/bin/update-ca-certificates , a symbolic link to a shell-script file called /usr/libexec/p11-kit/trust-extract-compat , and nothing happens because the script is just a placeholder. [ FIX ] Please use Fatdog64-812 's /usr/libexec/p11-kit/trust-extract-compat instead.

Google Earth Pro contains every single item - over and above the standard, X-related display stuff that every distro will contain by default - that it needs to run. Including libQt5Webkit.so.5 AND libQt5WebkitWidgets.so.5. Why do you feel the need to mix and match different Qt5 components? It only ...

I have observed that certain MPEG-TS files which are played smoothly using VLC on FD64 812 do not exhibit the same smooth playback when they are played with VLC on FD64 900 beta. One of the aforementioned MPEG-TS files is available on the internet, and its URL is "https://tsduck.io/streams/ital...

Now, I can put back the older isolinux, but then your boot problem might return back again. Thank you for testing, and please continue to report issues, and we'll try to fix tha...

Re: Correct way to format USB pendrive with FAT32?

What is the correct way to format a USB pendrive with FAT32 in Fatdog? I assume you would have to list the device first with lsblk to identify the correct name, lets say /dev/sdb . Do you the then simply umount /dev/sdb and format it with mkfs.vfat /dev/sdb ? Thanks! I would like to share my proced...

I suggest that you have found your fix already; boot your Celeron PC with initrd-nano. I didn't suggest to use initrd-nano before because you wrote that your PC boots normally with Fatdog64-812 but not with 813, so I excluded needing initrd-nano to boot. Initrd-nano is for machines with slow BIOS o...
