Wanting to copy a directory from the System boot disk containing EASYOS to a SSD.

Using "blkid" command both disks have TYPE="ntfs". The boot disk containing source directory has EASYOS and the target disk has WINDOWS Os.

Error Message says "Read-only file system".

Thanks for putting so much time and energy in this. I played with it with all my computer knowledge.

There are a lot of messages in terminal at fixmenus command. Upon clicking the menu item, nothing happens.

Just looking for an EPUB reader which works.

From the terminal, this command works and the software is alive.
/opt/sejda-desktop/sejda-desktop --no-sandbox

But it is wordy with a lot of messages in the terminal window for not connecting to internet. No worry on that.

The downloaded DEB files install with just one click.

Nothing comes in the Menu as indicated by the Message Window after successful install. Cannot figure out where they go.

1. Please reduce bootup time. 1st delay is in selecting either WINDOWS or EASY. 2nd countdown is upon entering EASY. These 2 counters take about half a minute.

2. EPUB file viewer/reader needed. The pdf reader is not opening *.EPUB.

The best thing would be that the next EASY OS update 4.5.3 contains the Latest version of Limine.

It is a bit too much to learn linux coding from www.google.com when you just using PC for fairly routine tasks.

Please do a favor to the present and future users of EASYOS.

Limine fails in ACER machine. The Output of "dmidecode -t bios" is attached. The PC boots from a USB and OS works fine. You just have to select the boot device every time. Also, WINDOWs was booting only in Legacy mode but Not in UEFI mode from a SSD. After Limine, WINDOWS refuses to boot with a ...

Seems file go some where.

Downloaded files do not show in Files/Downloads but appear in the download dialog.

Also screen capture images show in Files/media/Images but do not show when trying to upload the files to net.
