Re: Default Easy's screenshot app
Another trouble with TAS is you cannot really do a precise area selection as there are no indication lines.
What you get in Flameshot is the ability to resize selection, which makes it very useful in my opinion.
That's why I like GIMP for this job. Don't worry about selection, just grab the ...

Re: Default Easy's screenshot app
Easiest way to take and edit a screenshot is to do it directly from GIMP. "File, create, screenshot", set your delay, it opens in GIMP, edit and done.

Re: Dunfell Firefox how to update?
For the container, I think you should copy /usr/lib/firefox in /mnt/wkg/container/www/.session/usr/lib
EDIT: clarification
The directory firefox in /usr/lib must be copied inside the directory /mnt/wkg/container/www/.session/usr/lib
I tried changing the container on my test USB and it ...

Re: Dunfell Firefox how to update?
For the first question, a thing to test:
In EasyDunfell, when firefox is closed, save /usr/lib/firefox ( by example with the command cp -R /usr/lib/firefox /usr/lib/firefox-sav e) then replace the directory /usr/lib/firefox by the directory /usr/lib/firefox from Scarthgap.
I'm not comfortable ...

Thanks @CF-DKS :
Let me recomend u TAS (included by default in EasyOS) MENU- GRAPHICS
It will satisfy all your needs.
It is fantastic if u associate this program with a key-combination and with it you can record full screen, active window, region... you can save it in different formats, give ...

I like GIMP for screenshots. It offers you your choice of what to capture and the timing you want.

Re: Really satisfied with the OS I chose.
There is a positive outcome, we do get some people who are genuinely looking for a Linux distro to use as their daily OS, and some of them will like EasyOS and stay with it. I receive emails from people who have discovered Easy, maybe through Distrowatch, and they are using it -- that might be ...

Re: EasyOS Scarthgap-series version 6.5.1
Updated my Scarthgap 6.5 to 6.5.1. On running I ran the Daedalus 6.5.sfs in a container which I had downloaded after updating to Scarthgap 6.5. I had unistalled the Daedalus 6.4.x I had previously installed prior to Scarthgap 6.5. When checking the container, the flip to show the icon in the tray ...

Re: EasyOS Scarthgap-series version 6.4.4
Good, I want feedback, as currently giving Easy Containers some TLC.
I may be the only one reporting this, as I prefer the icons in the tray, but it seems that whatever choice you make in Scarthgap, it must be the same in Daedalus. Also, I can't add icons to the tray in Daedalus, only to the ...

None of the ones on any of the recent Easy OS releases work for me.
I keep getting an error stating file is to large.
I don't know if it has something to do with my monitor display resolution 1152x864 or not.
I've tried resizing everything and still the same error.
I give up ain't got the ...

Re: EasyOS_scarthgap or EasyOS_daedalus? What is your choice.
I'm just a web surfer and stream Youtube videos so both of these distros work fine on my old desktop computer.
I figure Easy OS Daedalus being a RC to have some issues as most usually do and I figure that the issues will be ironed out eventually and it will work just as it should.
At this point ...

Re: Missing Firmware?
This is probably a silly question but does the OS have to be loaded on the hard drive to do this? The statement to reboot would suggest that to me.

The other looks to be a sound driver and the system doesn't have ...
