Besmirched rockedge? I did not.
My vitriol? Are you confusing my comments about forum distro structure with the fuck off type personal attacks by 'Puppy distro fan' amethyst and his other gangland friends, including yourself.

This forum is puppylinux.com, not whatever url it was before it became puppylinux.com
It was murga-linux.com/puppy ......which still works because I added a URL rewrite rule to keep millions of links to it on the Internet working.
puppylinux.com was like an abandoned ship moored in the ...

Re: The future of the forum and about the structure
Puppy Linux is the reason for this forum to be here in the first place, never forget that.
The first distro actually featured on this forum was FirstRib (which is why I'm a founding admin) - irrelevant tho. Try to keep your posts on topic if you can stop dreaming

Thank you. When you say "fatdogized", do you also mean that this browser runs as spot as per fatdog's default?
Hi step,
Yes, it runs as spot and uses the same browser profile directory as the fatdog repo version sfs. It will create a profile directory at /home/spot/.config/chrome if there is ...

As a user of this forum more generally and a longtime (from its start) of the debian dogs, I agree that EasyOS, Dog House, and FatDog should not be stuck in such a little rectangle, unexplained, 'forum' named section whilst aging, far from keeping up to date Puppy has its huge House Training ...

Try disabling the eztables firewall, it is located at

Bad suggestion by me, I see your printer is USB, firewall does not affect that.

I'd like to create a VM with Bionic so I can test and replicate the physical system.
I've found that VirtualBox requires Guest Additions for basic functionality like clipboards, file sharing, and setting resolution higher than VGA.
With other Linux distros, I mount the VBoxGuestAdditions_7.1.4 ...

Maybe try to mount the savefile and rename /etc/X11 directory to X11.bak , then save and try to boot using the modified savefile. It should rebuild the missing X11 directory during boot to something that loads XServer.
But if the problem is permission issues somewhere else then that ...

The "eye" icon hides and unhides hidden files, those are the filenames with a dot in front of them.
You can unhide all files using the "options" menu.

On left side choose "New window", then on the right side tick the " Show hidden files" box ...
