Re: how to merge savfiles, preserving new, dicarding old versions?

One problem you should consider when merging 'SaveFile/Folders': If you uninstall a 'built-in' application --Menu>Setup>Remove Builtins-- that doesn't actually remove anything. Rather it writes a white-out file [.wh --note the dot signifying hidden]-- adjacent to the 'removed' file or folder which ...

Re: how to merge savfiles, preserving new, dicarding old versions?

First of all sorry for the late reply I've written an interactive python script for you(Extract the attachment). All you need to do it to mount both the save files in two locations and run the python script in terminal. Open the terminal your downloads folder and type python3 merge_dir.py Thats all ...

I've attached the screenshot of my sound card. It shows two cards but only the first one works. I've set the first one as default.
Also there's no problem in running video/audio from mpv or vlc media player.
(I've also attached the video demonstrating the problem)

Audio cracking in qemu

Recently I've created an android virtual machine(android x86 8.1 oreo) in fossapup 9.5. The performance is near native with kvm but there's some problem with audio from the vm. It's cracking.
I'm currently using pulseaudio.
(I've tried all the parameters in -soundhw but the issue still exists.)

Actually, in bionicpup, the programs from ubuntu bionic work on it. In fossapup, the programs from ubuntu fossa work on it. etc etc So it depends on what distribution you use. Or what do you mean with your question which has no meaning, because there is not ONE LINUX, but hundreds. That's why your ...

I'm not talking about running windows apps using wine. I want to know why they(developers) are hesitant to build their apps for Linux. Even if they do most are electron apps(running on web browsers-consumes lot of RAM).

[*]Recently I installed fossapup into my HP laptop. But I can't connect WiFi because there is no driver for it. I found from internet that my WiFi card needs driver rtl8821ce. Is it possible to build/compile the driver from source?.
