to load the iso I use ventoy. but when starting ventoy you must select grub2.

Where do i select grub2 ?
Iso loads but stops because it cannot find something sfs i think ?

Devuan pup only worked on vm for me unfortunately. It is the only linux cannot boot on bare metal. And it is sad since i like Devuan a lot. I should give this os another try tonight.
But what do you guys mean puppy linux is not linux ?
And why we have to use unetbootin or windows to load this os ...

Hello guys i cannot boot to devuanpup as all puppy derivatives except fatdog64 won't boot either. It goes to a screen similar to grub but a tad colourfull and everything i press won't boot even with forceXorg. There is also an error 13 if i remember correctly. What do you suggest ? Also are ...

I download the iso i burn via dd command in a usb and when i try to boot there is a black screen. It says something but i cannot remember what. What is the process to boot on desktop ? What shall i type ? There is a root environment if i remember correctly. Thanks anyway!

Yes it's free of systemd. It uses busybox init by default.

As i see it we can download packages from fedora or debian but how's that possible ?

Goto https://pkgs.org and download fedora or debian package. Install it by double clicking it ...

Is this puppy version up to date ? When support ends ?
It looks interesting and promising. Can i have programms from Devuan repos and could i add puppy repos ?
I need some specific programms like butt for streaming, telegram-desktop, viber and some more. Thanks!
