The features of github and gitlab are quite similar, at least at the basic usage level. I have not explored the CI (continuous integration) features so cannot comment on that. Go ahead and register an account with both github and gitlab, so that you can see/compare their ease of use firsthand.

Arktis GTK2 engine will be included with ArktisWM window manager package
Has ArktisWM been released? I could not find any references to it, other than in this forum topic.
