from my personal linux experience (besides puppy), Ive liked very much :

- elementaryOS (style, workflow, minimalism)
- triske linux (very very competetive to puppy, great MATE with ca. 700 mb load with open browser and apps)
- slax (great minimalism)
- lubuntu 11.10 booting speed.

Nice to find such lovely Linux.

Im seeking solution to have "own" system on usb drive and "borrow" only machine, because all Redmond stuff just sux.
