Did a clean 4.0 install and update to 4.1 as before with the german versions with the english one and succeeded.

Hello Barry, could you have a look to the jpg in my last message? The error with /dev/loop0 ... is still not solved. Clean install of 4.0 on usb-stick and trying to update to 4.1, using the german versions. Thanks.

Made a fresh install of 4.0 on usb-stick, tried to update, failed. Error message as jpg annexed

Copied initrd and vmlinuz to /mnt/sda5 (boot) and easy.sfs to /mnt/sda6 and /mnt/sda6/easyos (working). -reboot- Error: easy.sfs couldn't be found in /mnt/sd6/releases/easy-4.1/easy.sfs. Some more infos: used your install scripts from this threat. Original install was 3.1.7 updated to 3.4.7. New download with Firefox md5sum ok, no easy.sfs in img-file.

Downloaded the german version with Firefox and Seamonkey md5sum ok, install failed. Downloaded again with Firefox md5sum ok, opened image, no easy.sfs. Downloaded de, fr and english version with wget mdsum ok, opened images, no image had an easy.sfs file. Downloaded version 4.0 and installed manuall...

I noticed with some version of EasyOS (currently 2.7.2) that the scattered icons on the Racy desktop are gone if you restart the. xserver in the main window. If you then restart Racy everthing looks as it should.
