Hi,

I want to use boot splash.
plymouth has dependency conflict with elogind. plymouth works with systemd.

Alternates found sugesting to use plymouth-nosystemd

Could not locate the deb package.

Any other alternative for splash screen?

Now I want to use my own compiled kernel along with this script. Any hints how to do it. What modifications to do in the script. I am successfull in using custom kernel. It is hack . Hi, It works. Yes, it fails when running the build from a OS with systemd enabled (didn't test with that earlier). @alexmartin Can you try again?, I've updated the porteusbootscripts package (1.1.1) in the repo with a fix and should be OK now. @gumanzoy Thanks for the pointer about systemd ...
