USB install may be better to try. That info on trying with a CD. Kind of looks like it is trying to find stuff on a USB not the CD. With UEFI constantly being updated and also being setup by computer manufacturers. Options for settings in the UEFI could be anything. May be some setting in the UEFI ...

Side note -- I found a USB drive from last year that I had installed EasyOS on -- it appears to boot up without issues, so perhaps I need to switch over to a USB installation...

Lick installer usually just works with no issues. First thing, I suggest you use one of the very new Puppy Linux versions, on that hardware. It will have the best chance of having needed stuff, to support the hardware. I suggest Fossapup64 9.5 I just tried LICK 1.3.4 with Fossapup64 9.5 ...
