ozsouth the bin & lib in your example are under the /usr folder, so that is fine for usrmerge. What is not fine for usrmerge, is if they are in the main primary folder ( / ) This is what is in the ( / ) Screenshot.png . I see bin lib. and sbin. Knowledge and experience is not on my side.

How can you tell if an .sfs is usrmerge or not?

Applications > Desktop > ScreenSaver Control > Disable
