Re: Slow forum access times....anyone but me?

rockedge

The only thing I am experiencing is an extremely slow speed -

No 'too many requests' - No '404' - No 'not found'.

I do have a trick that would take the forum off line and only provide one single error page of emptiness that will break the cycle. But that's a most unfavorable tactic ...

I'm surprised @rockedge hasn't taken the ultimate action.

@wizard suggestion of Bionic32 is a good call -

However, I think the modesty of @wizard has got in the way here -

@wizard developed Friendly-Bionic32 v1.1 -

As you can see from my signature I use both and have done so for about 3 years now -

I, as a user of both, can recommend ...

Re: Methods to shift entire text line in .txt file ?

@greengeek

I am using Geany 1.29 in Signature 1

Highlight line of text to be moved then:

Edit > Commands > Move Line(s) Up

Or

Edit > Commands > Move Line(s) Down

Will only make one move at a time

Hope this helps

Bearing in mind I'm only starting out with trying to learn bash script -

So I wonder if this could be adapted to what you want to achieve -

I was not trying to give misinformation, just thought it might be helpful to explain the differences and possible pitfalls.

So I suggest that my post quoting AI be disregarded or even deleted by a Mod.

Yes I agree, I think it would be appropriate to separate 'Legacy' (non-maintained) from mainstream.

As it can been seen from my signatures, my use of 'Legacy' Pups is my choice.

Neither are maintained in the full sense of the word any more. However, IMO, the developers would still ...
