pfix=rwcache has the same error like pmedia=ataflash
@Mistfire
pmedia bootstanza problem:
Pmedia=ataflash, booting stop at "create ramdisk(1262M)...." pls see screenshot.
Pmedia=atahd, I can see only cursor(blank desktop).
I use only grub2 for multiOS: any Uefi/Bios-legacy/iso/frugal.
Sorry my mistake. The problem was, I did not fully/100% close the lid of my laptop. Some systems got confuse and triggered the screensaver/blanking out of control, but other systems have no problem at all.
Have a good day.
I tried to turn off screensaver if possible permanently by run xset s 0 0 dpms 0 0 0 in terminal or change the setting, but none works on my old Hp-laptop.
Do you know how?
Thanks
The new cursor is not too large, but to make it works without problem I have to change the screen resolution to higher setting otherwise I will get the image in my first post.
Actually it is not solved, just another way to make it works. I dont know how to fix it.
It is the first time in life I need to change the screen resolution for working bigger cursor, very odd.
Should I change any parameter of the menu.lst boot file?
@libertas
Definitely you miss psave=/ boot parameter
Normally my monitor resolution 1440x900 for all OSs. I think, the screen resolution 1600x1200 is fit for using Obsidian 48 cursor.
Hope no more problem.
Thanks for advice.
From fatdog-control-panel.
How to fix?
Thanks,
How to turn on firewall automatically?
Finally Saveinterval=0=Automatic do NOT save at shutdown is working, that's all what I need it and also working for FatDog.
It is clear to me 0=NEVER=(Not save anything at shutdown).
Can someone guide me, where is the location/file of the script that I can change >0 to =0 ?
It must work like easyos #3.
Easyos has 3 options:
#1. Yes or Not save #2. Autosave #3. Automatic do not save at shutdown.
Thanks.
Session will be saved automatically either saveinterval=0 or >0
What I want, saveinterval equal 0 to skip the save session.
How I can fix it?
Thank you so much for all the replies.
I am using zram to avoid running low on Ram some times.
And zram is better than having no swap at all
How to setup and use zram?
Do you think zram can run efficient while you have only 4Gb of ram.
Thanks.
Thanks Fredx,
I found the wifi problem, the connection is working only by choosing from the menu, can not choose from wifi-icon at the right bottom corner.
Now I have another problem, I can not import vivaldi bookmark from anywhere(HDD/Usb).
For sure not the router, I have over 10 distros installed without wifi problem.
I use this tool to backup "save folder"
